THIS STATEMENT OF FAITH IS NOT THOROUGH NOR COMPREHENSIVE BY ANY MEANS.  BUT IT DOES STATE FORTH THE BASICS OF WHAT WE BELIEVE AS BIBLE BELIEVING CHRISTIANS. WE FULLY BELIEVE IN THE SOUL-SAVING AND THE LIFE-CHANGING MESSAGE OF GOD’S HOLY WORD. WE TEACH IT AND PREACH IT WITHOUT APOLOGY. WE BELIEVE THE HOLY BIBLE AS HAS BEEN TRANSLATED IN THE AUTHORIZED KING JAMES VERSION.

WE BELIEVE IT TO BE THE LITERAL WORD OF GOD FROM COVER TO COVER. WE BELIEVE IT TO BE INSPIRED, INFALLIBLE AND AUTHORITATIVE IN EVERYTHING IT SAYS. WE BELIEVE THAT THE GOD WHO INSPIRED IT IS THE SAME GOD WHO PRESERVED IT FOR ALL GENERATIONS AND WILL CONTINUE TO PRESERVE IT FOR ALL GENERATIONS AND THROUGHOUT ETERNITY.

I THE BIBLE: The Old and New Testament of the Scriptures were given by inspiration of God and are the only infallible, inerrant rule of faith and practice. We believe it to be absolutely authoritative in every subject and matter it addresses. The bible is the eternal message of God to humanity. (Psalm 119:89; Isaiah 8:2;  Matthew 4:4; 1 Thessalonians 5:21; 2 Timothy 3:16)

II  GOD: There is only one living, eternal and true God who has revealed Himself as the Creator, Sustainer and righteous Governor of the universe and who alone is worthy of man’s love, worship and service. God is revealed in the Scriptures as the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost that makes up the Godhead, yet as one who is infinitely good, wise and  powerful. (Exodus 15:11; Deuteronomy 6:4; Psalm 38:18; Matthew 28:19; Mark 12:30; John 4:24; 10:30; Ephesians 2:18)

III  JESUS CHRIST: The Lord Jesus is God manifested in the flesh and in His divine nature is truly God and in His human nature truly man. He is both  100% man and 100% God. He is the virgin-born, sinless, eternally begotten Son of God. He is the only mediator between God the Father and mankind. After His crucifixion, He is now risen and glorified in Heaven and is our ever present Saviour and  Lord. (John 1:1-4, 14; 3:16; Philippians 2:5-11)

IV  THE HOLY SPIRIT: As the Scriptures affirmed, the Holy Spirit has all the attributes of God. He is a person and indwells every believer. He is the Reprover, Comforter, Guide, Sanctifier and the one who seals our justification and redemption. (John 14:16, 17, 26; 16:7-14; Matthew 3:16, 17; Ephesians 1:13, 14)

V  MAN IS SINFUL: Man was originally created innocent, but by disobedience, fell into a state of sin and condemnation. as the result of the fall, the future generations inherited this fallen nature by birth and by choice so that all who come to the age of accountability sin and become guilty before a perfect and holy God.  (Genesis 3:1-7; Romans 3:10, 5:12)

VI  TERMS OF SALVATION: There are only two basic condition of mankind’s salvation and they are provided by the grace of God wrought by the regenerating power of the Spirit of God, namely, repentance and faith. Repentance being the turning of trusting self to trusting the Lord Jesus Christ, and faith being the personal acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour from the penalty of sin which is eternal separation from God and condemnation to hell. Salvation of man is provided by the grace of God and appropriated solely by faith, without any form or shape of performance from  mankind. (Luke 13:5; John 3:16; Acts 3:19; 16:31; Romans 10:9, 10)

 VII  FREEDOM OF THE WILL:  The human will is free and self-controlled, having the power to yield to the influence of the truth and the Spirit and live, or to resist them and perish.  (Romans 6:16; 10:3; Revelations 22:17)

VIII PERSEVERANCE OF THE SAINTS:  All believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are saved by the grace of God through faith and kept by the power of God through faith. Salvation is the result of a man exercising faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as His personal Saviour. In doing so, the finished works of Christ in Calvary settles his account in Heaven. Perseverance is the sustaining grace of God that assures the believer that continued act of faith in Christ as his Lord and Saviour. (Ephesians 2:8; Philippians 1:6; Hebrews 10:38, 39; 1 Peter 1:3-5; Jude 24)

IX  RESURRECTION, JUDGMENT AND FINAL RETRIBUTION:  The Scriptures declare that there will be a resurrection of mankind. Those who are saved will go to Heaven as soon as they die, but will not receive their resurrected bodies until all Christians do at the return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His church at the Rapture. They will then stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ to receive their rewards that the Lord Jesus has promised to those who labour with Him. After reigning and ruling with the Lord Jesus Christ for a thousand years, they will then blissfully enjoy an eternity with Jesus in the literal new Heaven and new Earth. Those who die without Christ will go straight to hell to await the final Great White Throne Judgment where they will be sentenced to spend eternity in the literal Lake of Fire and Brimstone. (Matthew 25:41, 46; John 14:1-3; 1 Corinthians 3:11-15; 15:51-57; 2 Corinthians 5:10; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelations 5:10; 20: 11-15)

X HEAVEN: The Scriptures plainly declares that Heaven is a definite place reserved for the saved. Heaven is indescribably beautiful, eternally perfect and is the eternal reward that God has for all who have been born again. (John 14:1-3; Acts 1:10, 11; Revelations 21:1, 2)

XI HELL: The scriptures tell us that there is a place called hell. Hell is an eternally  terrible place reserved for all who die in their sin. As Heaven is indescribably beautiful, hell is the complete opposite. It is indescribably a horrifying place. The bible plainly states the fire and torment of hell to be an inescapable reality. (Matthew 25:41; Luke 13: 27, 28; 16:23, 28; Revelations 19:20; 20:10)

XII  BAPTISM:  Baptism is the immersion of the believer in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. This represents the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is also a testimony to the world the Christian’s death to sin and being raised in the newness of life.  It is an outward symbol of what took place in the inside as one trusts the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour.  Baptism only takes place after salvation.   (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Colossians 3:12; Titus 3:5)

XIII THE LORD’S SUPPER: The Lord's table or "communion," or "breaking of bread" is to commemorate the death of Christ, to remember. It is to signify, seal, and apply to believers all the benefits of the new covenant. In this ordinance Christ ratifies his promises to his people, and they on their part solemnly consecrate themselves to him and to his entire service. The Lord’s Supper is a badge of the Christian profession. It is observed to indicate and to promote the communion of believers with Christ, to represent the mutual communion of believers with each other. The elements used to represent Christ's body and blood are unleavened bread and pure grape juice. This is a permanent ordinance in the Church of Christ, and is to be observed "till he come" again. (Matthew 26:26-29; Mark 14:22-25; Luke 22:19,20; 1 Corinthians 10:21; 10:16; 1 Corinthians 11:20, 24-26; Acts 2:42.)
